2009 Loop for Life
Memorial Ride for Russ Dellen
April 2nd 2009 -
SAVE THE DATE...
Saturday, August 15, 2009

The Loop for Life Foundation begins it's planning for this year's ride and it begins with some  announcements... this year begins the "Loop for Life Memorial Ride for Russ Dellen"!  For those of you who do not know Russ Dellen, he passed away this past year and has been a huge sponsor, supporter and was very dedicated to the success of the Loop for many years.  We hope that you can join us in paying tribute to an individual who was very charitable and passionate about the well-being of others as well as supporting St. Mary's Child Center, Spastic Paraplegia, IU Dance Marathon to benefit the Ryan White Infectious Disease Center and other local charities!

Also new this year, for every $100 donated or raised, you will be eligible for a chance to win this 2009 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic Motorcycle courtesy of Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis.  This beautiful Red Hot Sunglo and Smokey Gold motorcycle has a security system and MSRP is $18,900.

Once again, Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis and Honda of Indianapolis and the Dellen Automotive Family are the Primary Event Sponsors!  Harley-Davidson and Honda of Indianapolis will be the place to be prior to the Loop...they have been selected to be the Satellite location for pre-registration/ registration.  They will provide breakfast as well as an escorted ride by IMPD to the Marion County Fairgrounds, where you will be able to enjoy all the festivities.

The Indianapolis Metropolitian Police Department will lead the way for 2,500+ riders around I-465 for this 55 mile ride.  All lanes will be shut down to all traffic to allow for this event.  Enjoy breakfast provided by Sara Lee and Kroger; lunch by Jug's Catering, Frito Lay and Hooters; refreshments by Kinetico Water and RN Thompson; live music by Special Purpose and Blonde Sonja.

Don't miss out on all the fun...On-line registration will be open soon,
so make sure and check back often!
